The Board of Directors of the Swiss cooperative Coop Group has appointed Daniel Hintermann to succeed Daniel Stucker as Head of Trading with effect from 1 June 2026. Philipp Wegmüller, currently Head of Railcare AG, will take over the vacant position on the Executive Board as Head of Logistics & Production.

Daniel Stucker will hand over his position on 1 June 2026. He will then devote himself to strategic projects within the Coop Group until his retirement in April 2027. He has headed the Trading Division for 26 years.

Daniel Hintermann (55) will take over the position on 1 June 2026. In this role, he will also serve as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. With his many years of experience in retail at Interdiscount, his expertise as Head of Logistics & Production and the implementation of many large-scale projects, such as the conversion and expansion of the Schafisheim…
