The German cooperative Bauvista is gaining members in Poland. The Polish cooperative Sieć Budowlana will begin collaborating with Bauvista in January 2026. At that time, 15 of its shareholders with 30 retail locations will be able to purchase, via Bauvista, goods from suppliers that are new to them. There will be 50 to 60 manufacturers at the start.
Sieć Budowlana sees itself as the Polish market leader in the building materials trade and DIY segment. Founded 17 years ago, the cooperative has a total of 28 members with 250 locations. Its turnover amounts to EUR 1.23 bn.
The two new partners began talks two years ago, reported Bauvista managing directors Jörg Kronenberg and Johannes Häringslack at the German cooperative's in-house exhibition.
