October 2025 marks an important milestone in the cooperation between German DIY store operator Obi and Too Good To Go. Since the plant rescue offer was rolled out across Germany in the spring of this year, participation has grown massively: at the end of October, the symbolic barrier of 100,000 plant bags with an average of three plants was broken, as the cooperation partners announced in a press release.
Lukas Fuchs, Circular Economy Project Manager at Obi, also gave an outlook on further plans: ‘After integrating our Obi stores in Austria into the programme in mid-2025, we are now looking forward to launching in Italy shortly. Participation by our stores in Poland is also already planned.’
