Jumbo takes on trainees from Do it + Garden

Jumbo, a Swiss hardware store chain, is taking on trainees from Do it + Garden because the Migros DIY stores are closing at the end of June. Coop has offered those affected the opportunity to continue their training at Jumbo. Twelve new apprenticeship contracts have been signed as a result. "In view of the major changes in the Swiss DIY store landscape, it was clear to us that we wanted to talk to Migros quickly about the future of the apprentices," reports Maurus Helfenstein, sales manager at Jumbo.
