Landi takes over a Do it + Garden location

The Swiss co-operative retail chain Landi is also taking over a location of the Swiss DIY sales line Do it + Garden, which Migros is discontinuing in the middle of the year. The location in the Breitenrain neighbourhood in Bern's Wankdorf district is special: it is the first Landi location in a major city. The store is located in a seven-storey Migros building from the 1950s.

The Landi Group, which belongs to the Fenaco cooperative, has confirmed corresponding press reports. A spokeswoman emphasised: "However, we are not planning to expand our strategy into the cities now." The shop on the outskirts of the city has fulfilled important criteria that are relevant to the Landi concept.
