Dedeman and Hornbach open in September

The number of DIY stores in Romania grew by two further major locations in September. At the start of the month, market leader Dedeman opened its 52nd store in Lugoj in the west of the country; they invested EUR 11 mio in the store with a retail space of around 10 000 m², reports the Romanian industry service bricoretail.ro.
More than double the size with 23 000 m² is the seventh Romanian location which the German chain Hornbach opened at the end of September in Oradea. The store has a drive-in of 5 900 m² and a pet department with aquatics covering 450 m².
