Jumbo starts online trading in the fourth quarter

The Swiss chain of DIY stores starts online trading. The company says the planned e-commerce solution is one of the most modern of its kind. It should be put into operation in the fourth quarter of this year.
Jumbo is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. The chain, which belongs to the Maus Frères Holding, opened its first DIY store in 1982 in Bachenbülach, near Zurich. It now operates 40 locations. In 2016 turnover was more than half a billion Swiss francs.
