"DIY Evolution. Designing the future together" is the motto under which the 7th Global DIY Summit stands. The summit, at which the global home improvement industry meets, will take place from 5 to 7 June 2019 in the Irish capital of Dublin. The conference programme will be based on these main topics: global economic and political overview; innovate or die: why innovation matters; digitalization: adapting to the era of disruption; HR: preparing your team to embrace digital transformation; Asia: the changing face of innovation; global home improvement insights.
The list of speakers once again includes well-known names such as Sergio Giroldi (Obi), Osamu Watanabe (Lixil Viva, Japan), Erwin van Osta (Hubo, Belgien), Igor Kolynin (Petrovich, Russland) and Hartmut Jenner (Kärcher). Steve Collinge (Insight DIY, Great Britain) will again host a panel discussion.
Event organisers are the European retail and manufacturer associations Edra/Ghin and Fediyma. They have now opened registration for participants on the www.diysummit.org page.
As in previous years, a store tour will be included in the extended summit programme. Immediately before the summit on 4 and 5 June 2019, the Build Form, which focuses on the building materials trade, will also be taking place.
