The Board of Directors of the international DIY trade association Edra/Ghin has two new members: Masayuki Takaya, Representative Director and CEO of Cainz Corporation in Japan, and Graham Bell, CEO of the British chain B&Q. They were elected at the Annual General Meeting in Amsterdam.
Masayuki Takaya takes the place of outgoing board member Hiromasa Tsuchiya, who will in future focus exclusively on leading the Beisia Group. Graham Bell succeeds Thierry Garnier, who has been appointed President and CEO of Ahold Delhaize.
Graham Bell has been Managing Director at B&Q since 2018 and has been part of Kingfisher’s management team for more than 20 years. He initially joined B&Q, then moved to Screwfix, where he served as CEO, before returning to B&Q. Prior to Kingfisher, Bell worked at the DIY chain Wickes, at Texas Homecare and at the retail group Asda.
