Vusion, a provider of AI-powered digitalisation solutions for brick-and-mortar retail, is acquiring In-Store Media (ISM), an in-store retail media company headquartered in Barcelona (Spain). Vusion sees itself as a leading provider in its sector and was one of the sponsors of the Global DIY Summit. It describes ISM as a company with a proven track record in the design, development and monetisation of retail media networks in brick-and-mortar retail outlets.
According to a press release, the planned acquisition represents a significant step in Vusion’s strategy to transform brick-and-mortar retail outlets into digital media platforms and hubs for real-time interaction with customers on the shop floor.
According to the information provided, ISM has worked for 90 retail chains and FMCG manufacturers representing more than 1,600 brands across nine countries in the EMEA, Americas and APAC regions. In 2025, the company generated turnover of around €120 million. It offers a portfolio of more than 50 media solutions, covering both print and digital. According to its own statement, Vusion expects the planned acquisition to strengthen its position in the field of connected commerce and to promote retail media as a central pillar of its vision for the connected store.
