A gathering of the Greek DIY sector with international guests

The Home Improvement Conference in Athens, the annual gathering of the Greek DIY sector, is taking place for the 17th time this year. It is once again being organised by Karydakis Media, this year in collaboration with the Greek Retail Association (SELPE). The conference brings together representatives from the Greek DIY retail and manufacturing sectors, as well as international guests. This year’s date: 9 December 2026. As in previous years, the venue is the Benaki Museum in Athens.

The list of speakers also includes names from the international home improvement scene. Speakers will include Tony Walker from Bunnings, the Australian market leader; French consultant Fiorella Origlia, an author who previously worked as a buyer at Adeo and Kingfisher; and Dr Elisa Servais, RDI, Retail Design Strategist and President of the European section of the Retail Design Institute.

“Leveraging a New Global Reality” is the conference’s theme. The organisers have announced that speakers and participants will discuss the new consumer, artificial intelligence, the future of retail and the technologies transforming the home and garden sector.
