DIY stores in the Netherlands had a positive third quarter. Their sales were 4.5 per cent higher than in the same period last year. This result from the GfK Total Store Report was reported by the Dutch trade journal Mix Vakblad. According to the report, only the gardening sector failed to reach the previous year's level, albeit by a narrow margin of -0.4 per cent. However, all product groups showed growth in the first three quarters as a whole. Industry sales rose by 4.2 per cent compared to the period from January to September 2024.
