Hubo Netherlands has a new managing director

Harrit Boonstra is the new managing director of the Dutch DIY chain Hubo. On 1 July 2026, he succeeded Miriam de Bruin, who had been at the helm of the franchise DIY chain since 2021.

Harrit has been with Hubo since January 2025 and previously held the position of head of marketing and e-commerce. He is also acting as managing director of the Decorette chain on an interim basis. Hubo Netherlands – not to be confused with the chain of the same name in Belgium – and Decorette are part of the German retail group EK Retail and its Dutch organisation, Euretco, respectively.
