Silvan CEO Klaus Dolmer speaks in Athens

Klaus Dolmer, CEO of Danish DIY chain Silvan, will give a presentation at the 16th DIY & Home Improvement Conference in Athens. He will talk about Silvan's strategy and vision, according to the organiser, Greek trade publisher Karydakis Media. The conference will take place on 12 November 2025. According to the announcement, Denmark is one of the five most digitised countries in the world and can therefore provide examples of how technology can improve the customer experience. Silvan is playing a particularly important role in the major changes taking place in the retail sector. ‘From click & collect services to the use of artificial intelligence in customer service, Silvan is showing how a traditional DIY chain can reinvent itself,’ write the organisers.

The conference, with speakers from Greece and abroad, will focus on ‘Innovation and Technology in Home Improvement Services’ for one day. It is intended as a networking event for the Greek and international DIY and gardening industry.
