US-based global market leader Home Depot achieved sales growth of 7.0 per cent in the first six months of the 2025/2026 fiscal year (ending 3 August 2025) compared to the same period last year, generating sales of USD 85.133 bn (EUR 73.069 bn). However, growth slowed somewhat in the second quarter. In these three months, sales rose by 4.9 per cent to USD 45.277 bn (EUR 38.862 bn). For the first quarter, the company had reported a growth rate of 9.4 per cent.

Comparable sales growth totalled 1.0 per cent in the second quarter, with 1.4 per cent in the United States alone. However, net earnings fell by 0.2 per cent in the quarter and by 2.2 per cent in the first half of the year compared with the same periods last year.
