Fair organiser Messe Essen reports a good response to the planned IPM Summer Edition on 13 and 14 June 2022 in Essen (Germany). More than 170 companies have already confirmed their participation in the industry get-together on the unusual date. In addition, many associations have expressed their interest in using the IPM Summer Edition for conferences, networking meetings and congresses. What is more, an exclusive evening event is planned for the first day of the fair in a neighbouring park. Normally, IPM Essen takes place at the end of January, but had to take two breaks due to the pandemic. The next regular edition has been announced for January 2023.

"The concept of the IPM Summer Edition meets with a lot of approval in the industry. The mixture of showroom and networking in a summer ambience is well received," says Andrea Hölker, project manager of IPM Essen. "We also want to make it possible for our exhibitors to participate without much effort and therefore have various booking packages on offer."

As at the regular editions of the leading international trade fair for horticulture, there will also be the IPM Discovery Centre at the Summer Edition, which will be curated by green stylist and creative director Romeo Sommers: "The key to success is staging," he says, explaining the concept. "We combine individual products with each other in such a way that, in the end, they result in a coherent and round retail concept."
