DIY retail sales down by 24 per cent in the Netherlands compared with 2020

In the Netherlands, the sales of DIY retailers in the first six months of 2021 were down by 24.2 per cent overall compared with the same period in 2020, when sales were booming. The biggest drop in sales was in electricals (-31.5 per cent), along with hardware and tools (-29.3 per cent). In the garden range, sales fell by 19.6 per cent. The figures, which come from GfK's Total Store Report, were published by the trade magazine Mix.
