More than 650 participants arrive at Amsterdam

Hagebau's general meeting took place this year in Amsterdam - with a premiere: for the first time no journalists were allowed entry. However there was a two and a half hour press conference at which the chairman of the board of directors of the Soltau cooperative and the management board answered questions from the press. The focus of the press conference was on questions about Hagebau's internationalisation and e-commerce strategy.More than 650 participants travelled to the Netherlands for the general meeting. The management board reported sales of € 6.26 bn on goods and services which partners purchased through the headquarters in 2016. This is an increase of 2.8 per cent compared to the previous year.In the election of the supervisory board, Johannes M. Schuller, Bauzentrum Mayer GmbH & Co. KG (Ingolstadt), as well as Julian Tintelnot, Wilhelm Linnenbecker GmbH & Co. KG (Bad Salzuflen) were confirmed in their mandate for four years. Matthias Schäfer, MS Holz GmbH (Wiesbaden) withdrew from the board. Newly elected to the supervisory board was Benedikt Hüttemann, Hüttemann Holzfachzentrum GmbH (Düsseldorf). The mandate runs until 2020.
