The German cooperation EK-Servicegroup is restructuring its executive board starting 1 January 2017. Instead of the previous three, there will be four board members. The reason for this is the takeover of the Dutch multiple-industry associated group Euretco in April 2015, which also takes care of the DIY store distribution systems Hubo and Multimate.
From January Steve Evers, previously chief sales director at Euretco, will be responsible for the DIY division. He is also responsible for Books, Fashion, Sport and Home. Martin Richrath, previously chief financial director at Euretco, will be taking over the responsibility of Controlling, Finances and Supply Chain Management. Susanne Sorg takes on Omnichannel, IT, Comfort, Family as well as Trade Fairs and Events. Franz-Josef Hasebrink remains CEO and also heads the departments Living, Human Resources, Central Purchasing, Credit Management and Corporate Communication.
Bernd Horenkamp, currently director of Living, Family, Trade Fairs and Events as well as Central Purchasing, will be leaving the company as of 31 December 2016. Harry Bruijniks, chairman of the executive board at Euretco, will also be leaving the executive board as of 31 December and will transfer to the board of directors at Euretco.
