The European DIY Association (Edra) has a new president. Erwin Van Osta, owner and CEO of the Belgian DIY chain Hubo, was elected to the position at the association's annual general meeting in Oslo. He succeeds Thierry Garnier. The CEO of British DIY group Kingfisher held the position for three years. He remains a member of the Edra board.
At the annual general meeting, the association also decided to expand its board by three positions. David Wood, CEO of Wickes (Great Britain), Joost de Beijer, CEO of Intergamma (Benelux), and Sabrina Canese, President of Assofermet (Italy). Carl Otto Løvenskiold, a member of the Edra board since its foundation in 2004, has stepped down from the board.
