Online shop wants to set up DIY in Tunisia

There is now an online shop in Tunisia specialising in DIY. The shop at www.brico-direct.tn has been open since March 2016. Operator of the website, which is available in French, is the wholesaler Majimpex Tunisia. Its assortment comprises the fields of hardware, decorating and car accessories. Well-known international brands are also offered. In addition, brico-direct.tn wants to offer services for consumers and professionals from 2017.
There are currently no DIY store companies active in Tunisia. The French Bricorama group had a franchise holder in the country. The business collapsed following the so-called Arab Spring of 2011. At the start of 2016 Bricorama finally succeeded in ending the franchise contract.
