Hornbach DIY stores increased their net turnover by 5.9 per cent to EUR 3.6 bn in the first six months of its financial year (1 March 2026 to 31 August 2026) (2025/26: EUR 3.4 bn), of which 13.5 per cent (2025/26: 13.1 per cent) was attributable to online sales (including Click & Collect). Compared with the previous year, online turnover rose by 8.6 per cent to EUR 485.8 mio during the period under review (2025/26: EUR 447.3 mio). Adjusted for store space and currency effects, turnover rose by 4 per cent.

"The main drivers were the high demand for seasonal product ranges such as air conditioning units, shading and watering products – but overall, growth was seen across all product categories," reports Erich Harsch, Chief Executive of Hornbach Baumarkt AG.
