The regionally operating French DIY chain L’Entrepôt du Bricolage has closed the first half of the year with an increase in turnover. Compared with the same period last year, it achieved an 8.3 per cent increase in turnover, totalling 207 million euros. This increase is largely attributable to the acquisitions of RG Bricolage, but even on a like-for-like basis, growth stands at 2.1 per cent. According to a statement from the parent company Samse accompanying the half-year report, the market is showing signs of a slight improvement.
