The British Toolstation chain, which primarily targets professionals, increased its turnover by 1.7 per cent in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year, generating GBP 425 mio (EUR 495 mio). In its half-yearly report, the parent company Travis Perkins states that like-for-like turnover rose by 1.4 per cent.
Meanwhile, turnover in the Benelux countries continues to decline; it has most recently fallen by 6.1 per cent. The company still operates 110 outlets in this region. In March, it announced that a sale of this division was under consideration. The number of outlets in the UK, currently standing at 590, is set to rise by around ten this year; the medium-term target is a network of 650 branches.
