Arcaplanet and Bricofer Group roll out pet category in DIY stores

Italian pet retailer Arcaplanet and Bricofer Group have signed a strategic partnership to develop and strengthen the pet category within Bricofer, Self and Ottimax stores, combining Bricofer's expertise in DIY, home and garden retail with Arcaplanet's specialisation in pet products and services.

Under the initial roadmap, 15 Arcaplanet stores will open within Bricofer Group locations over the next 12 months, operating as fully fledged shops with dedicated assortment, checkouts and Arcaplanet staff. A further eight Arcaplanet corners will be installed inside Bricofer, Self and Ottimax stores, offering fully branded pet areas with dedicated ranges, though operational management of the corners will remain with Bricofer Group.
