Home Depot acquires HVAC wholesaler

SRS Distribution, a subsidiary and professional division of Home Depot, has completed the acquisition of Mingledorff’s, a wholesaler of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. In addition to HVAC, the company also sells spare parts and accessories to private and commercial customers at 42 locations across five states in the south-east of the US. The agreement to acquire Mingledorff’s was announced on 24 March 2026.

According to its own statements, The Home Depot is focusing on expanding its market share among professional contractors. The Home Depot acquired SRS in 2024, thereby establishing its position in the specialist trade for roofing and building products, interior finishing and construction products, as well as landscaping and swimming pools.
