The Swiss DIY chain Jumbo achieved sales growth of just under 1.8 per cent in 2025, despite the number of stores falling by one to 111. Accordingly, the sales area decreased by 1.4 per cent to 484,280 mio m². Net sales amounted to CHF 1.092 bn (EUR 1.198 bn). This is according to the annual report of the parent company Coop, which was published today. With its DIY business, Coop is a shareholder in the German cooperative Hagebau.
Coop achieved total sales of CHF 35.5 bn (EUR 39.0 bn) in 2025. Adjusted for currency effects, this represents an increase of 2.3 per cent over the previous year. Coop grew in both retail and wholesale, as well as in production. In retail, total sales rose to CHF 21.2 bn (EUR 23.3 bn).
