Dresselhaus, a German supplier of fastening technology, is getting a Dutch owner, the investment company Torqx Capital Partners. Torqx already owns the Dutch fastening specialist Fabory, based in Tilburg. The insolvency proceedings that Dresselhaus had applied for in July 2025 will be lifted in the course of January 2026, the company announced.
The investor agreement with Torqx Capital Partners was signed in October. The resulting strategic partnership between two leading European specialists in fastening and connection technology opens up unique opportunities for further growth for both companies, according to the company.
The Dresselhaus Group's headquarters will be relocated from the city of Herford to Lemgo, 20 km away, which specialises in retail and DIY customers. The Herford site will be closed in the summer of 2026.
