Cyber attack on Leroy Merlin

The French DIY chain Leroy Merlin has been the victim of a hacker attack. According to numerous newspapers and the industry service Zepros, the attack two weeks ago resulted in the theft of data from several hundred thousand customers who participate in the company's customer loyalty programme. The data stolen includes names, telephone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses and dates of birth, but not bank details or passwords. The company has announced that it will be filing a lawsuit.
