Eurobaustoff plans 4 per cent sales increase for 2026

„Before the shareholders' meeting in June, the mood was better than the figures, now it is worse than the figures.“ With these words, Dr Eckard Kern, Chairman of the Management Board of Eurobaustoff, described how he sees the current situation of the German building materials trade cooperation. At the Eurobaustoff Forum, the cooperative's in-house exhibition, he cited the following specific figures: at the end of October, centrally invoiced total sales were 1.8 per cent above the corresponding figure for the previous year. In the retail sector, however, this figure is negative, with a decline of 1.3 per cent. Kern said that consumer restraint was making itself felt here.

In line with the general trend, the increase in the building materials trade is driven by energy-efficient renovation. Overall, the cooperative expects an improvement and is planning for a 4 per cent increase in turnover…
