The French building materials chain Bricoman is changing its name to Tecnomat. This means that the parent company Adeo is taking the same step it did in Italy three years ago. The professional distribution chain Bricoman currently has 37 locations in France.
The name change, which will take place in spring 2026, is more than just an evolution, writes Pierre-Louis Gras, Director of Omnicommerce, Customer Relations, Brand, Development and Business Development at Bricoman/Tecnomat, on Linkedin: “This is the most important stage in a transformation that has been ongoing for almost ten years to better serve construction professionals.” According to him, the future Tecnomat stores will stock 20,000 items in quantities suitable for construction sites, with an additional 350,000 products available via the online marketplace.
