IAW trade fair closes on a positive note

At the 39th Internationale Aktionswaren- und Importmesse (International Action Goods and Import Fair, IAW), 4,730 trade visitors from around 70 countries met with 260 exhibitors from 23 countries at the Cologne Exhibition Centre from 2 to 4 September 2025. According to the organisers, the 30,000 m² exhibition space was dominated by exchange, knowledge transfer and attractive offers.

Project manager Kerstin Manke draws a positive conclusion: "The IAW trade fair has once again shown that, despite a difficult market situation, it is possible to do good business and benefit from exchange. We are very satisfied and optimistic that we will be able to build on this positive situation at the 40th edition in March 2026." However, Lukasz Sagan, Directing Manager of camping specialist Bahama Warenvertriebs GmbH, describes the current situation as follows: "Unfortunately, there is a noticeable negative trend. The entire supply chain is functioning, but consumers also need to be in the mood to buy."

The 40th anniversary edition of the IAW will take place from 24 to 26 March 2026.
