Hornbach plans further Bodenhaus store

German DIY store group Hornbach is expected to open another store for its Bodenhaus retail format, which specialises in floor coverings such as tiles, parquet and laminate, in November. It will be the third location in Germany. The company is currently converting a former Hornbach store in Wiesbaden with a sales area of almost 4,000 m² for this purpose. The concept is aimed at professionals and DIY enthusiasts. It was introduced in Berlin in 2020. Hornbach established a similar format in the Netherlands in 2021 under the name Vloeren.
