French association FMB has a new president

The French DIY store association FMB (Fédération des Magasins de Bricolage) has a new president: Paul Cassignol (60), president of the Mr. Bricolage franchise group from 2015 to 2025, succeeds Mathieu Pivain, Director of Asset Management at Kingfisher. Pivain headed the association for six years. Paul Cassignol operates six Mr. Bricolage DIY stores and has been with the group since 1991. He was unanimously elected to his new position by the board for a three-year term.

He previously served as vice president on the FMB board. This position will be taken over by Khadidja Sedrani Garibaldi, director of brand projects at the Samse retail group, which oversees the L'Entrepôt du Bricolage sales chain.
