Gardena's sales fell by 3 per cent to SEK 8.713 bn (EUR 774,026 mio.) in the first half of 2025 compared with the same period last year. This was announced today by the parent company Husqvarna in a press release. Organic sales fell by 1 per cent, with exchange rate effects having an impact of -2 per cent. Cost-cutting measures and efficiency improvements had a positive impact, while lower sales volumes had a negative impact.

In the second quarter, net sales for the Gardena division, which comprises Husqvarna's consumer business, rose by 2 per cent to SEK 4.668 bn (EUR 414,685 mio.) after a weak first quarter. Organic sales also rose by 7 per cent, while exchange rates had a negative impact of 5 per cent.

Sales of irrigation products were strong in the second quarter, supported by good customer demand and successful product launches, according to the press release. In addition, the division achieved growth in the robotic lawn mower category.

New robotic lawn mower models with advanced navigation technology have been introduced for the 2025 season, enabling operation without boundary wires or reference stations.
