The British Kingfisher Group has commented on the US tariffs for the first time in a trading update. It states: "Kingfisher does not have any US sales or operations. We source most of our products in Europe from the same country in which those products are then sold. We also source 20-25 per cent of our products from Asia. We therefore expect little direct impact from any potential changes in cross border tariffs but remain watchful of any broader impact on both inflation and market demand."

The DIY store group closed the first quarter (ending 30 April 2025) of the 2025/2026 financial year with a 1.6 per cent increase in sales (1.8 per cent adjusted for store and currency effects). The increase was mainly attributable to B&Q, the main sales channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
