Clas Ohlson increased its net sales in April 2025 by 4 per cent compared to the previous year to SEK 814 m (EUR 74.6 m), as the Swedish DIY chain announced in a press release. According to the statement, 7 per cent of this was attributable to organic growth and 3 per cent to negative currency effects. Sales in April were also negatively impacted by calendar effects of 4 per cent – this year's timing of Easter had a positive effect on March sales, but the opposite was true in April. Compared to the same month last year, the store network grew by eleven stores.
Total net sales for the period from May 2024 to April 2025 amounted to SEK 11.627 bn (EUR 1.065 bn), representing an increase of 14 per cent compared with the same period last year. The total number of stores at the end of the reporting period was 241.
