Leadership transition at Do it Best

A change has taken place in the management team of US cooperative Do it Best. Vice-president of lumber and building materials, Gary Nackers, has retired after handing his responsibilities over to Russ Kathrein on 1 June 2021.
Gary Nackers had worked for Do it Best since 1999, taking up the post of vice-president in 2014. His successor, Russ Kathrein, has more than 30 years of experience in the forest products industry, managing truss plants, door shops, and pro dealer operations. He joined Do it Best in 2020, most recently serving as a lumber and building materials business development manager.
