Byggmax sales increased by 34.3 per cent in the first quarter and by 32.8 per cent in the first six months of the year compared with the same periods in the previous year. These figures take account of the Swedish company's acquisition in January 2016 of Skånska Byggvaror, which has eleven stores in Sweden and Norway. Net sales for comparable Byggmax stores rose by 5.9 per cent in the first six months. The company's sales amounted to SEK 2.4766 bn. Following the upgrading of eleven stores to the Byggmax 2.0 concept, all stores have now been converted with the exception of one, which is to be relocated in the near future.
