Leroy Merlin wants to enter White Russia in two years

The French chain of DIY stores Leroy Merlin (Groupe Adeo) wants to enter White Russia. Market entry is planned for 2018. This is according to a statement made by Philippe Mougeot, marketing director of the Russian national corporation, at the DIY forum as part of the Mosbuild in Moscow.
In Russia Leroy Merlin is massively extending its position as market leader. After eight new openings in 2015, a further four were carried out in the first quarter of 2016. In 2016 another 14 branches are to be opened and in the next five years Leroy Merlin wants to be represented in all major cities.
