Kesko’s DIY division renamed and restructured

The Finnish Kesko Group renames the home improvement and speciality goods trade division to the building and technical trade division. The name has been changed because operations have expanded to B2B customers and the technical trade. At the same time, the division's management responsibilities have been reorganised to support international growth, the company states.
The management board led by Terho Kalliokoski, Kesko Executive Vice president and the President for the building and technical trade division, has been divided into three profit centres: foreign countries, B2B sales and Finland.
In addition there are five common functions units: development of digital services, marketing, logistics and business support; commerce, which includes selection composition, sourcing and commerce support functions; business development and store sites; human resources and communication functions; finance, credit and risk management affairs.
