Byggmax launches new Design Your Living store chain

Byggmax, the Swedish DIY retailer is launching another new store concept in Stockholm city centre this week; the first store under its new brand name Design Your Living. The company also plans to expand this concept to the rest of Europe.Customers are offered an interior designer, free of charge, who assists with everything from inspiration and choice of material to craftsmen and construction engineers.
The store has a full assortment in order to give the customer a complete solution - for large or small projects in interior design, refurbishment or major construction projects. These services will be offered at a fixed price. Byggmax is collaborating with several providers in the construction, interior, decoration and design industry.
"Design Your Living caters mainly to the target group 30+ who own their homes, are interested in interior design but are short on time and because of that reluctant to renovate. They will gladly receive help to get that little extra in everyday life, they love interior design trends and are happy to pay to get the job done", explains Magnus Agervald, CEO Byggmax Group AB. Just a week ago, Byggmax presented one of its new sales formats Byggmax + for the building materials trade.
