Building and home improvement trade starts like-for-like in plus

The sales of the building and home improvement trade of the Finnish trading group Kesko increased by 1.4 per cent in local currencies in January. However, in total, Kesko's home improvement and speciality goods trade started the year with a sales decrease. The sales figures declined by 13.3 per cent to € 196.5 mio compared to the same period last year, comparable sales were down by 1.1 per cent in local currencies and by 2.8 per cent in Finland.
