Kesko’s building and home improvement trade lose sales

The Finnish Kesko Group achieved net sales of € 2.370 bn last year in the building and home improvement trade. That's equivalent to a decrease of 2.1 per cent compared to the previous year. In local currencies, net sales were up by 2.7 per cent. In respective local currencies, net sales in Sweden grew by 10.8 per cent, in Norway by 3.2 per cent and in Russia by 0.9 per cent.
The K-Group's sales of building and home improvement products in Finland (Kesko and K-retailers) decreased by a total of 0.3 per cent and the total market (without VAT) is estimated by Kesko to have fallen by approximately 2.2 per cent. The retail sales of the K-maatalous chain were € 437 mio, down 5.5 per cent.
