Ambitious goal

The company, which was founded in 1983, succeeded in reaching the POS of DIY and decorating stores with “Demo”, an electric carpet dispenser system. In order to comply with the wishes of its customers A5 Industrie then expanded its range by developing a whole line of merchandisers for a variety of product categories including carpeting, PVC floor coverings, carpets, tiles, parquet, wallpaper, fabrics and lighting.
Paternosters for carpeting and PVC flooring are available to DIY retailers in addition to presentational solutions for hard floor coverings.
New to the programme is a display stand for portable power tools that has a presentational area and four storage zones. Also new is a presentational device for netting products, which works on the same principle as “Demo” and is suitable for rolls of goods in the gardening sector, e.g. fencing, all types of screening, protective and mosquito netting, pond liners.
A5 Industrie both installs and services its presentational aids with the help of its own technical staff, at the subsidiaries in Poland and Spain as well. To start with, the development office examines whether or not the concept suggested by the client is feasible, and the planning phase concludes with presentation of the prototype.
Today the group, which has its headquarters at Mortagne sur Sevre, employs a workforce of 70 and generates sales in excess of 9 mio euro. A5 Industrie is incorporated into the A5 Expansion holding company.
