New generation
Ryobi presents its new CBD range of cordless drill/drivers. The aluminium collet allows for up to 24 clutch settings to control torque (1 to 75 N/m according to model). Motor and planetary gear are designed for continuous use at full load, with the aid of fan cooling and generous air inlets. The tools are equipped with non-slip “Soft Touch” handles. The batteries (9.6, 12, 14.4 or 18 Volt) can be clicked onto the tool by means of a new “Slide On” coupling.

Percussive force plus stamina
Protool has launched a complete series of powerful drills and drivers for all types of material. This brand name for professionals now offers five new drills, three with and two without hammer action. The two-speed machines have constant-mesh gearing and bit-changing has been simplified by the development of a new “Automatic Lock” spindle brake. The top model PDP 20-2 EAQ has a 760 watt motor and offers a drilling performance of 20 mm for masonry, 13 mm for steel and 45 mm for wood.

Two in one
Skil’s Fox 2-in-1 grinder allows the user to sand large surface areas and difficult-to-reach places like corners and edges. The tool is also suitable for working on windows, doors and furniture. For such purposes it is necessary simply to remove the tool’s front shoe and replace it with a detail sanding base. With the help of the “Clic System” it is possible to turn the orbital sander into a detail sander in just a few seconds; no other tools are necessary.
