After two months of decline, sales in the German DIY store sector turned positive in April. This is according to the latest figures from the Statistisches Bundesamt (Federal Statistical Office). According to these figures, retail sales of metal goods, paints, and DIY and home improvement supplies were up 1.3 percent in both nominal and real terms compared with April 2024.
