TiTE x IHT 2026 aims to attract international buyers to Taichung

The "2026 Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo x International Hardware Expo Taiwan" (TiTE x IHT) is just around the corner. It will take place from 20 to 22 October at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Centre (TICEC). Jointly organised by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association (THTMA) and Lanza International Co., Ltd., this year’s fair will feature 450 exhibitors across more than 1,000 stands.

Despite ongoing uncertainty in global markets, the organisers have invited more than 100 international buyers – the largest delegation in the fair’s history. Organisers also emphasise that more than 25 international trade media outlets will be on site to report on the event.

In anticipation of new demand for sourcing opportunities driven by the reorganisation of supply chains, Lanza International has significantly expanded its overseas promotional activities this year, exhibiting at events including the International Hardware Fair in Cologne and the Global DIY Summit in Amsterdam.

Sourcing meetings ahead of the fair

On 19 October, the day before the fair opens, the International Trade Administration (ITA) of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs – with TAITRA as the organising body – will host one-to-one meetings between nearly 60 international buyers and Taiwanese suppliers specialising in hardware components, sanitary fittings and hand tools.

As TiTE x IHT takes place immediately after the Canton Fair, it also offers a natural next stop for buyers who are already on a buying tour in Asia – the organisers therefore expect visitor numbers from both Taiwan and abroad to reach a new high this year.
