Successor named for BHB Managing Director Peter Wüst

The German DIY retail association BHB is to appoint a new managing director. Peter Wüst’s successor will be Christian Haeser. He has spent more than 20 years working for various associations in the sectors of home and living, Europe, law, furniture and building materials. He will take up his new role at the BHB on 1 September 2026. Peter Wüst will retire on 1 January 2027, as planned, at the age of 66. Both he and the association had already made this clear in advance. The BHB has now announced his successor in a press release. Wüst served as the BHB’s managing director for 17 years and has had a significant influence on the association.
