Michael Budde to become Head of Bosch Power Tools

Bosch Power Tools is restructuring its leadership team with effect from 1 April 2026: Michael Budde, currently President of the Bosch Mobility Electronics division, will take over from Thomas Donato. At the same time, Martin Hettich will join the Bosch Group and become a member of the divisional board. He succeeds Lennart de Vet and takes over from him responsibility for the regions, marketing and sales, as well as responsibility for the business units from Thomas Donato. Dr Katharina Hartl remains on the divisional board with responsibility for commercial matters.

Thomas Donato, who has been Chairman of the Bosch Power Tools Division Board since June 2023, is leaving the Bosch Group at his own request on 31 March 2026 to pursue his career outside the company.
